With around 20,000 attendees expected, Token2049 is being called “the largest crypto event of the year.” Co-founder Alex Fiskum expressed his enthusiasm, saying they can’t wait to welcome the global crypto community for what promises to be the most dynamic experience yet.

This year’s event is set for September 18-19 at Marina Bay Sands. Alongside Teng and Yakovenko, other notable speakers include Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen, Grammy nominee Iggy Azalea, Blueprint founder Bryan Johnson, entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan, and whistleblower Edward Snowden.

One exciting addition this year is NEXUS, a startup competition for early-stage projects aiming to become the next crypto unicorn. The event will span four floors and offer a variety of experiences. There will be a Recover zone with ice baths and free towels, a Move zone featuring a Padel court and climbing wall, and a Nourish zone where attendees can enjoy food, protein shakes, and fresh juices.

A Network zone will host DJs and a bar area, while the Disconnect zone invites guests to relax with an Oasis Room, gong facilitators, a sound bath, and breathwork sessions.

Beyond the main event, Token2049 provides a guide to exploring Singapore, with over 500 side events planned. Highlights include Karate Combat at the end of Day 1, the Crypto Fight Week CFN title clash on September 19, and the Network State conference on September 22.

The After2049 closing event will feature a unique 360° live sound experience from Polygon Productions, known for their spatial audio work. Musical performances will include headliners WhoMadeWho, South African DJ Da Capo, and returning acts ANONM, Leon, Milam, and Mo-Shi.
