TikTok Partners with Goodstack to Launch Personalized Fundraisers for Charities

TikTok is rolling out some exciting new features for creators. Now, they can raise money for charities and causes they really care about.

They’re teaming up with Goodstack, a fintech company that manages charitable donations. This partnership allows creators to support organizations from a verified list of nonprofit partners, like the American Red Cross and Save the Children.

What’s even cooler? Creators can now personalize their fundraising pages. They can add custom titles, descriptions, background images, and set specific goal amounts.

Each fundraiser has special stickers that creators can share in their videos, posts, and live streams. These stickers help track total donations collected from all the shares.

While TikTok has had standard donation stickers since 2020, this updated experience is a game-changer. Creators can now launch personalized fundraisers and promote them more effectively. In the past, you could only share a generic donation link. Now, you can create something personal, like starting a fundraiser to raise $500 for the American Heart Association in honor of a friend.

In a blog post, TikTok said, “From international nonprofits to local community initiatives, creators can now choose organizations they are passionate about from Goodstack’s validated database of nonprofit partners.”

Goodstack, founded in 2015, helps manage charitable donations to well-known organizations like UNICEF, the American Heart Association, WWF, Oxfam, and UNHCR. Recently, they closed a $28 million Series A funding round, led by General Catalyst.
