Layer 2 Networks Surge as TVL and Crypto Prices Climb
In the evolving landscape of the cryptocurrency market, the current Total Value Locked (TVL) on Layer 2 (L2) networks has seen a significant uptick. As of today, the total TVL on L2 Beat stands at $29.88 billion, up from $28.20 billion yesterday.
Focusing on the top-5 L2 networks, Arbitrum continues to lead with a TVL of $13.53 billion, marking an increase from $13.23 billion the previous day. The OP Mainnet has also experienced a substantial rise, currently at $7.6 billion compared to $6.6 billion yesterday.
Meanwhile, Manta has seen its TVL grow to $1.89 billion, up from $1.59 billion. Starknet is not far behind, with its TVL climbing to $1.38 billion from $1.01 billion. Lastly, Base has recorded a TVL of $938 million, increasing from $838 million the day before.
In the broader cryptocurrency market, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) has surged to $56,786.47, a notable rise from yesterday's $51,691.47. Ethereum (ETH) has also seen an upward trend, currently priced at $3,246, up from $3,101 yesterday.
