The tap-to-earn game MemeFi, hosted on Telegram, is getting ready to launch its token. After a few delays and a switch to the Sui network, it’s almost here! With just two days left before the game takes a snapshot of player activity for token allocations, developers have shared a final chance for players to boost their share of the upcoming drop.

As we approach the snapshot on Friday, November 15, players can earn triple rewards through partnered earning campaigns within the game. This includes tasks like playing games from other Telegram developers, signing up for an account at the crypto exchange OKX, or following specific crypto-focused community channels on the messaging app.

These tasks don’t directly relate to MemeFi’s main tap-to-earn fighting gameplay, where players battle various meme-inspired enemies on their smartphones or tablets. However, they’ve been a significant part of the overall MemeFi experience for months now.

Recently, these promotions have taken up more space in the game interface. The developers seem to be integrating more connections with other companies and projects. Right now, these partner promotions could give players a nice boost just before the airdrop.

MemeFi plans to launch its token on Sui on November 22, right after this week’s snapshot. Initially, the game was being developed on the Ethereum layer-2 network Linea, but in late October, they announced a shift to Sui. They are now working closely with the network creator Mysten Labs to onboard players to the layer-1 ecosystem.

Interestingly, Linea is also preparing to launch its own token. A new nonprofit, the Linea Foundation, was established on Wednesday. They plan to debut a token and hold an airdrop for early users sometime in Q1 2025.
