Lamborghini and Animoca Brands Join Forces to Launch Web3 Racing Game 'Fast ForWorld'

Lamborghini and Animoca Brands' division, Motorverse, are teaming up to create an exciting Web3 racing game. This collaboration aims to change how brands engage with fans in the automotive industry.
With this partnership, Lamborghini’s legendary cars will be featured in the Fast ForWorld Web3 racing game. This will connect with Animoca’s community of motorsport enthusiasts.
The new platform, called Fast ForWorld, will allow fans, gamers, and owners to interact, play, and collect digital items. Plus, they can earn rewards for their involvement. How cool is that?
Players will have the chance to buy, sell, and drive Lamborghini’s iconic vehicles across various Motorverse games. Motorverse, a subsidiary of Animoca, creates a global ecosystem for digital cars, racing games, and motorsport culture. It offers a fresh gaming experience with digital car collectibles that work across different platforms.
According to the press release, “Super sports cars will be introduced as interoperable digital assets, accessible across multiple gaming platforms from launch.” This means players can enjoy their favorite cars in various games right from the start.
This initiative positions Fast ForWorld as Lamborghini’s main hub for digital engagement and Web3 projects. It aims to bring fans and partners together. The first version is set to launch on November 7, featuring a 3D wallet for users to store their digital items.
For Lamborghini, this is a significant step into the NFT (non-fungible token) space. Two years ago, they released a limited edition series of ‘World Tour’ themed NFTs. This was during a time when early Bitcoin investors were showing off their wealth by buying luxury cars like Lamborghinis.
However, interest in these NFTs faded as Bitcoin millionaires shifted their focus to real estate. This shift showed a change in how they manage their wealth. The new partnership could spark renewed interest in the luxury brand.
For Animoca, this partnership adds to their ongoing efforts in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors. The company has made strides, including working with the NFT marketplace Magic Eden.
As a leader in cryptocurrency gaming and the metaverse, Animoca has also launched its own token, MOCA Coin. They are considering an IPO in early 2025, looking at options in Hong Kong or the Middle East, where cryptocurrency regulations are favorable.
These moves highlight Animoca’s commitment to creating value for shareholders after being delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) due to governance concerns.
