Elon Musk's Meme Coin SHRUB Soars 3,300% in a Week, Attracts Major Investors

Elon Musk's new meme coin, SHRUB, has taken off. In just a week, it surged over 3,300%, outperforming Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. This jump started after Musk tweeted about his pet hedgehog on November 3.

Since then, Shrub (SHRUB/USD) has been on fire. It’s now trading at a value that’s more than 3,300% higher than before. Major investors are snapping it up following Musk's tweet.

What Happened: In a tweet on X, Musk responded to a fan asking about his hedgehog. He simply said, "Her name is Shrub, the hedgehog." This tweet helped the meme coin reach a valuation of over $100 million.

Data from Onchain Lens shows that big names in crypto, like Andrew Kang and Cobie, have invested heavily in SHRUB. Kang bought 991,433 SHRUB for 65 Ethereum (ETH/USD), which is about $208,000. Cobie also got in on the action, trading $16,400 in ETH and other assets for SHRUB tokens worth around $57,700.

In just seven days, Shrub has outperformed other popular meme coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Floki.

CryptoChief believes SHRUB could soon hit a $200 million valuation, saying, "Elon’s narratives are going crazy… a 20x increase to Floki’s valuation is within reach."

Crypto trader Han Ji Ahn thinks Kang’s investment in SHRUB makes sense. He stated, "He knows something you don’t know."
